workshop evaluation
Evaluation Results
On March 9, 2015, this presentation was given to 10 Special Education teachers and Administrative team during a team meeting. The workshop was evaluated through an online survey in Google Forms. 10 teachers attended the session and 10 teachers completed the evaluation form. The Administrative team did not complete the evaluation form as they had to leave before the session concluded. Teachers were given the link through a QR code available on the interactive whiteboard. They were able to complete the evaluation on their personal smart phones or school issued iPads. I think that this contributed to the 100% participation in completing the survey.
I was very pleased with the survey results. The majority of the 10 teachers (90%) found the Google tools and web resources helpful for use in their classrooms or schools. The majority of the teachers (80%) also found the resources for flipped classrooms helpful for their classroom or school. The majority of the teachers expressed a desire to learn more about webquests and a few wanted more information on flipped classrooms and Google tools. The teachers indicated that the Google tools and flipped classroom resources were the items that they will take away from this session. All 10 teachers (100%) found the presenter engaging during the session.
The Administrative team for Special Education in the district has reached out to schedule another session for me to present to them and the Special Education Facilitators in the school district. This session will take place in late April or early May. I have also submitted a proposal to present at the Georgia IDEAS Conference in June. I am currently working with my supervisor to schedule another session that will focus on flipped classroom resources and a session on webquests for summer professional development.
